Let’s face it, it’s been a long week already. You need an afternoon laugh, so here’s Panic Films’ Funny Video Wednesday to the rescue. Today’s funny videos of the day comes from The Tenderloins, who the world should know as the stars of TruTV’s Impractical Jokers. These guys have the funniest show on TV and I hope it’s back for a second season, and hopefully many more. They’re life long friends from New York and it’s fun seeing their chemistry together because it’s real and relaxed. This seems to make the comedy even better. For more from The Tenderloins and Impractical Jokers, check out their site here and here for more Youtube videos.
Here’s a bonus clip of one of my favorite bits from Impractical Jokers.
I had a good time at C2E2 on Saturday with some friends and shot these photos and video. Can’t wait to hopefully check out ACEN coming up and Wizard World over the summer.
Here’s the first of what I hope to be many monthly video diaries. I’m planning to shoot them all on my phone but that might not always be the case. This one is from December 2011 and showcases the mad skillz of the T-Mobile G2X video camera in all its full 1080p glory.
Here’s some video I shot while in Los Angeles back in October. Every radio station I tuned into played “Pumped Up Kicks” by Foster The People, so I just had to use it for the soundtrack. KROQ also played the hell out of The Black Keys “Howlin’ For You” and The Smashing Pumpkins. Chicago needs it’s own KROQ, but that’s another blog for another time. Huge thanks to my dear friends Scott and Nisha for taking the time to hang out with me. Always nice to see a bit of home when I’m so far away. Also of note in the video is Hae Ha Heng for a good time and great food in Koreatown in LA. That was shot on a Monday, I can only imagine the level of awesome that a weekend night would be. I can’t wait to go back.
This Nerf battle/music video/massacre has been making the rounds today online and it’s pretty much the best thing I’ve seen in a while. Definitely the best thing I’ve seen since the last best thing I’ve seen. It’s been shared amongst my coworkers, on Facebook, and now here. Enjoy!
Since waking up yesterday morning I’ve been searching for reviews and Youtube videos of Suede‘s return to the US at Coachella. Spin named Brett Anderson “Best Frontman”. Check out the story here. These are 2 of my favorite videos so far, a killer version of “Trash” and a pre-show interview by Boston Phoenix. I have my fingers crossed for a US tour. You should cross yours as well.
Yep, it’s Thursday. That means it’s time for a video mixtape! This one is more dancey than I thought it would be when I started to look for tracks, which I guess is perfect for spring. Enjoy!
Okay maybe not a deleted scene from Tron: Legacy but thanks to the magic of the internets, Disney, facemapping, and Facebook I was able to put myself in the movie. Now if only I could be in a scene with Olivia Wilde…
