I love discovering new bands. Chapel Club is a great band who’s opening for Suede’s 3 nights of album shows and they’re pretty amazing. At first listen they reminded me of Rialto and I’m not at all surprised that they’d open for Suede. I’ve already ordered their album, which I can’t wait to listen to over and over. Also, to help share the love, I had to include this free song widget from their site. Enjoy!

Smashing Pumpkins have been posting free songs from their evolving concept album Teargarden by Kaleidyscope and they have some winners in there. Check it out!

Arizona artists Vladee Divacc are pioneering a new genre called Dunkwave. I don’t know about you but I’ve never heard basketball themed ambient drone music before. And I like it. Put your headphones on and turn it up.

Since Thursday night is the unofficial start of the weekend and I’m in actually in a good mood, here are a few words of inspiration from Simon de Pury and the cast of Work of Art.

The Black Angels announced a tour (Chicago on October 28th) which is not to be missed. The new album comes out September 14th. With so many good shows and new releases, this fall is going to be great for music. Check out their new song “Bad Vibrations” right here.
