I’ve had this bookmarked to post for a while now but I haven’t gotten around to it till now. I have had a huge crush on Courtney Robertson ever since I first saw her in that purple dress in this commercial. I had no idea who she was, and not even her name. A quick Youtube and Google search later brought up her site and that she was also on The Bachelor. She also reminds me of Playboy model Bethanie Badertscher, who I’m also quite fond of. What do you think?

Courtney Robertson
I know I’ve said it here before, but I have some really talented friends. When the friends are coworkers who happen to be my favorite photographer to work with then it’s even better. Here’s a taste of the just launched site for James Trevenen Photography. Some of my favorite shoots and traveling for work have been with James, most recent being this holiday shoot with Kate Pietka and Ashley Johnson seen above. Playboy casting call in Orlando: MyFoxORLANDO.com
I can’t believe over a week has gone by since I’ve come back from the Playboy Casting Calls in Orlando. I had a blast down there and the whole crew (and girls) treated me very well for my birthday. I also came back to putting together 3 events, work, and trying to catch up with everything else. The video here is from Fox TV in Orlando with October 2011′s Playmate Amanda Cerny, who was a really sweet girl and hung out with the girls as they waited for their turn to shoot.

My job
Work has been great lately. One of my favorite recent edits is on the homepage of playboy.com so I thought I’d share. It was shot by my friend and colleague Bill White and stars the gorgeous Veronica LaVery. It was a fun edit to put together and it’s SFW, so enjoy!
I also just spent most of last week in Columbus, Ohio shooting video for the Playboy Casting Calls. It was a blast, and I’d love to get back there some time and see more of the city. In June, The Atlantic reported from the casting call in Kansas City where this photo was taken of me and my favorite shooting partner, James with one of the girls.

NBC’s The Playboy Club
NBC posted some clips from The Playboy Club that will begin to air Mondays this fall. There’s more on the site here. It looks just as they were describing it, like Mad Men in the Playboy world and if you ask me, it was a cool time period for Playboy. I hope the show does well since I totally missed the Mad Men boat and I’m a fan of all things Chicago, sixties, and Playboy.

Playboy Halloween Party
The Smoking Jacket put up exclusive video of the Playboy HQ Halloween party from last Thursday. It’s SFW and includes a visit from Hef and his family. You might even see a quick shot of me, and I might be wearing a sailor’s hat.
I have some really talented coworkers. They came up with this shoot to celebrate the anniversary of Back to the Future and the bluray release. Check out the photos (including free walllpaper!) and a great animated video on playboy.com, as well as this SFW video of a little mishap that happened on the shoot.
NBC in New York covered the Playboy Casting Calls this week. It was a blast to be back there with the whole crew and meet some new friends, and shoot lots and lots of great models. Check it out and look for the back of my head at the :07 mark.
