I love Jeremy’s poster for this month’s PANIC! and I think a lot of other people did too as it was stolen off the walls of Beauty Bar a couple of times. Here’s some of the rest of the photos from the night. I enjoyed my set and love that people danced to the new SULK tune “Flowers”. I’m all about playing new music and bringing in new artists into our sets.
Friday’s PANIC! was a lot of fun. Dark Wave Disco played early for a do312 party and then we took over for the rest of the night. Our next one is March 29th since we’re on schedule now at Beauty Bar for the last Friday of the month. For now, check out some of photos I posted on Flickr from Friday.
Friday night was a blur. PANIC! made it’s debut at our new home, Beauty Bar and it was a huge party. We had coverage in TimeOut Chicago, Red Eye, and a lot of buzz around town of people waiting for us to come back. It was a really special night and I’m still buzzing about it. Here’s just a few photos from friends and that I took throughout the night and starting on Wednesday with the first spotting of our TimeOut article on Instagram. I can’t wait to see what the future will bring for us and most of all, I’m excited to finally have our party back up and running.
Here it is in slideshow form. These are the photos I took at darkroom for our last ever PANIC! before the bar closes it’s doors. It really was a beautiful and emotional night. All the people who came out made it a really special event for Pogo and I and we can’t be more grateful for all the love and support we’ve gotten over the last 6+ years at darkroom. The club will be missed by all of us and we’re happy to have been a part of it’s history.
My very talented friend Jeremy Bacharach designed the flyer for this month’s PANIC! and I love it. We’re seriously excited to have our old friend Brad Owen back with us for an awesome night. Hope to see you there!
EDITED FRIDAY AUGUST 24, 11:52PM:
This will be the final PANIC! to be held at darkroom, because they are closing. We’re sad yet want to go out with a bang and hope we can enjoy the evening with the friends we’ve made over the past 6 years. It’s been an amazing experience to work with such amazing people and humbling to see the impact PANIC! has had on people and how it’s become part of our lives. Join me on the dance floor for one more dance, one more party, and let’s make it a memorable night.
