Happy Sunday evening. The weekend flew by and I’m just getting to putting up all the new music from the past week and some from the past month. Let’s start with Suede‘s first new song in over 10 years “Barriers”. It’s definitely Suede but I hear a lot of The Tears and Brett Anderson’s solo sound. I can’t wait to see what the new album sounds like.

And how awesome was it that David Bowie released new music on his 66th birthday this week? Video artist Tony Oursler directed the video and the song “Where Are We Now?” is fantastic.

Pulp released “After You” produced by James Murphy, formerly of LCD Soundsystem, and you can definitely hear his influence in the song. Classic Pulp right here and it’s just so good.

I was able to see The Faint last month performing their album Danse Macabre that was just reissued. They’ve also put out the new song “Evil Voices” and it’s great. I hope it’s the beginning of more new music from The Faint. Lord knows we need it.

Sulk is giving away an awesome new single called Flowers. I’ve posted about this amazing London band before and they just keep getting better and better. If you like the Stone Roses, then this is for you. I can’t wait to hear their new album and if they tour the US, I’ll be there.

Download the new single from the Raveonettes! The Into the Night EP comes out on April 24th.

Chicago has a new label and it’s called Dead 2 Me Records. They’ve just released their new mix tape that’s currently blasting in my ears. Go here to download it and check out the track list. Summer starts as soon as you hit play on your iTunes.

Atari Teenage Riot posted a new single today called “Blood in my Eyes” from the upcoming album “Is This Hyperreal?”. It’s free. It’s good. Get it and play it loud.

Here’s a new song from She Wants Revenge called “Take The World”. Good tune and great video. Both are right up my alley.
