If only I found this site a couple of weeks earlier, I would have entered a video to the festival! Till then, check out this glitch-tacular trailer for GLI.TC/H 2010

Pixel Sorting
Unstage posted some great photos made by using a technique called pixel sorting. The image below was made by Kim Asendorf from her series of pixel sorted landscapes. It kind of looks like datamoshing a still image, which is pretty damn awesome. Read more about it and check out some images here.

Mechanical Monsters
Here’s my half of the data mosh project I’m working on with my friend Adam. It’s called Mechanical Monsters. I’m glad I’m making more videos these days. It feels good. I’m just hoping they get weirder, better, and crazier.
My friend Adam made this video. We’re collaborating on a datamoshed, very experimental art video that will melt your eyes….or so we hope. Whatever happens, we’re having a lot of fun making it. This is only a taste of what’s in store. Get ready.
video repost: video art
Here’s a couple of videos from YouTube that I’ve made and thought I’d repost on this shiny new version of my site. First is “Tension”. The motion is reacting to the audio which I made first.
Here is “Please Don’t Wake Me Up”. It was mostly an experiment in data moshing , a reason to use this footage I had shot, and the sound with the images looked like a dream, so I got the title from there. Speaking of sound, I love making these abstract soundtracks and I love how they come together with video to make something new.
