Martin Scorsese does Chanel

Martin Scorsese directed this great commercial for Chanel seen on TrendLand. Big surprise to hear the Rolling Stones, but I’d really love to see the rest of the 16mm film that was shot on the Bolex camera.

Simon de Pury

Since Thursday night is the unofficial start of the weekend and I’m in actually in a good mood, here are a few words of inspiration from Simon de Pury and the cast of Work of Art.

I’ll never think of a Renoir painting the same way again. Thanks for that mental image Simon. But I’ll always be bold, creative, and inspired thanks to you.

Miss Howard TV

Here’s a SFW video I shot of the lovely Ashley Johnson at Playboy’s Chicago Casting Calls in May. She’s now Miss Howard TV for September 2010. This was her first shoot and a couple of months later she’s on Playboy Live, going to NYC to be on Stern, and got featured in the Cyber Club. I’m expecting big things out of this lady in the future.

Inception Legos

I found this via designyoutrust who posted from My Modern Met: Lego scenes inspired by Inception, which I imagine will be the best movie of 2010 and will win at least one Academy Award.

Interpol Live at The Vic

Here’s a photo from the amazing Interpol show on Monday at The Vic taken with my favourite app, Vignette on my Mytouch phone. It was definitely a treat to hear a lot of Turn on the Bright Lights, especially my favourite song “Say Hello To The Angels”. The new songs sound great and I can’t wait to hear the new album that comes out in a couple of weeks.
