Here’s a video from Saturday’s PANIC! with Who’s This Mary? doing The Cure’s “Let’s Go To Bed”. My favorite part was how much the crowd was into it and the 90% female dance party going on right up front. They also did some pretty amazing versions of “The Lovecats”, “Fascination Street”, and “10:15 on a Saturday Night”. I can’t wait to see them again.

Sexy Artwork Friday is here a bit late today, but it’s been a long day. I’ve been meaning to post this great artwork by Dmitry Shorin that I found on Design You Trust a while back. I think what I like most about these paintings aside from the subject matter is how they’re composed and there’s a nice timeless quality about them.

I just got a roll of film developed that’s been in my camera since January. I almost forgot what some of these photos were but these are my favorites from the roll. My next roll will be black and white, which should be a lot of fun to shoot.

Technique
I’ll be spinning Technique at Neo on St. Patrick’s day with my great friend Kamar. This night used to be Atomic with him and DJ Qbot but she’s moved on to other things. Personally I think she’s busy going to raves and building a giant robot in Rogers Park.
As for me, I’ll be DJ’ing at Three Aces this Friday the 11th and then Neo on the 17th. I might even wear a leprechaun costume.
