So glad I checked out Kitsune Noir today and got to see Kenneth Anger’s new fashion film for Missoni. I’m especially glad because such an influential figure in American experimental film is still working, and making great work well into his 80′s.

Thor trailer
Wow. This looks really good. Check out the new Thor trailer from Comic-Con that either leaked or was put out early. Read up on it here. Is it just me or is there a lot of really awesome stuff coming soon?
Here’s an awesome new trailer for Halo: Reach. I personally can’t wait for September 14th for this to come out. It’s going to be a great day.

Nick Cave is revising the script for a new The Crow film, which will no doubt make it amazing. I wonder how it’ll differ from the first The Crow movie, which became a 90′s goth classic. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Till then here he is on Jools Holland proving why he’s the master.

Two gigs this week
Thursday is our last gig of The Queen is Dead residency at Abbey Pub with The Handsome Devilz. Our guest DJ is Tony Christopher, who’s best known for his Smiths/Morrissey DJ nights at Delilah’s. I’m glad to finally play with Tony and it’s going to be an awesome night.
Then on Saturday is a big summer blow out for PANIC! I’m excited since I was in LA for the last one and it’s our first BBQ. Also, we have Dom Kreep guest DJ’ing with us from the band Kreeps. I first met Dom writing this for the now defunct Bangers & Mash blog. It was great meeting him in person a couple of weeks ago and we’re all really excited for a great PANIC!.
