There comes a time in a young man’s life when he must make a decision. I’m at a crossroads of my life right now. I don’t know which road to take. I’m sitting here in idle, waiting to kick it into 5th gear. I have to ask myself, WWJGD? What Would Jo Garcia Do? Next month I have to make the decision: do I buy Blur or Split Second? These two arcade combat racing games are coming out in May and I want to buy one of them. I have both demos and so far I think I like Split Second more. I think I need more time with them. Till then, which one do you think I should get? Comments on this post are appreciated. Help a brother out.

Life Decisions
Interpol: Lights
I just saw this on Facebook and had to post it up. Download the new Interpol song “Lights” for free! They’ve been one of my favorite bands since I heard their first album and this song is pretty good. I’m definitely looking forward to hearing more new stuff.
Another great night at PANIC! on Saturday. I can’t believe it’s been 4 years at darkroom with more at Smart Bar and we’re still going strong. Lots of good stuff coming up our 5th year of PANIC! and I’m pretty excited about it. We were even joined by Melissa Auf Der Maur who hung out and requested some good tunes (see photo below).
I put together the visuals for Echonine’s record release party at darkroom for the album Neon Strip. Here’s a video I took with my digital camera of the song “Bodyrock” accompanied by a collage of vintage computer animation.
Five years of Dark Wave Disco. I’m honored to be a part of a nationally known party that’s lasted for so long with such great people involved. I’m already looking forward to posting the six year anniversary party video. Big shout out to long time DWD photographer and family member Tony Martin for being the still image on the video. Tony’s middle finger has been in several DWD videos over the years.
No Reservations
Here’s a widget I found on Facebook for Anthony Bourdain: No Reservation. Being home from work recovering from surgery for 5 weeks this winter, I watched this show religiously and what felt like weekly marathons during the day. I also got into Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, but that’s another blog. For now, check out Mr. Bourdain’s widget and click on stuff. Go out and eat different food too. Explore ethnic neighborhoods. You won’t be disappointed.
After spending the past couple of weeks working on the Echonine live visuals DVD, I finally finished the Blow the Speakers party video. It’s also viewable in 1080p in all it’s HD Youtube goodness.
Don’t ask why but I Googled “empire stormtroopers”…okay fine, I’m a nerd, but these images from Evening Arwen came up in the first page of Google Images. I know I’m not the only one with a nerd boner right now, so don’t judge me. In other news, I updated the blogroll links on here. Visit them all visit them often.

I can’t stop watching this. And I thought Sienna Miller was hot in Factory Girl and G.I. Joe!
Bag Monsters
Street artist Joshua Allen Harris makes some pretty awesome inflatable creatures. Check out this video I found over at Visual Kontakt.
