Flickrista widget
This is a cool little widget for one of my favorite sites for photo inspiration: Flickrista
Three posts in one day. I think it’s a record for me. Not bad for a lazy Saturday. I saw Black Acid in my Myspace friends list and forgot how awesome they are, not surprising since it’s Richard Fearless from the equally awesome Death in Vegas. Pretty good tunes for a grey winter Saturday afternoon before it gets dark.

Friday's Gig – Metro!
This is my first DJ gig at Metro. I’m excited about this one. I’ve done visuals here before with Airiel and Shiny Toy Guns with Dark Wave Disco and I loved it. I hear we’ll be on stage also!

Thursday's gigs
I’m DJ’ing 2 gigs on Thursday night. This should be a blast! I’ll be doing a Morrissey/The Smiths set at Neo and keep the party going till 4am.

A Kiss from Tokyo
I discovered this “trailer” today doing research on Youtube for work. It was made for Kevin Dart’s new book: Seductive Espionage: The World of Yuki 7 and I love it. I’m a sucker for anything even vaguely resembling 60′s spy movies and this art and animation style. The Art of The Title Sequence has a great interview with the creators here. I recommend reading it after you watch the trailer.
The Editors show at The Vic was awesome last night. The new more electronic songs mixed well with the older rock songs and neither disappointed. I was worried the electronic songs wouldn’t be good live but they sounded fantastic. I didn’t get any pictures but here’s a video of them performing one of last night’s encores “Papillon” from Later with Jools Holland.

As much as I loved the way-too-short Halo 3 ODST, I didn’t love the Halo Wars strategy game. I tried to like it, really I did!
Lucky for me there’s a new Halo game coming out! Check out this video for Halo: Reach coming to the XBOX 360 later this year. The game already looks great. I can’t wait to see more updates and lose hours of my life playing it.
